Darcy Gerbarg, a Techspressionist artist, creates digital artworks. Her 40-year digital creative practice continues to evolve as digital technologies change. She paints 3D light sculptures in a virtual world and shows them, as both incorporeal AR sculptures, occupying only visual space, as well as physical artworks, in real-world environments.
VR and AR provide new opportunities for people to meet, share, communicate and enjoy Virtual Artworks in VR Worlds or as digital objects placed in real-world settings. It’s about “presence”, where the laws of physics as we experience them on Earth, don’t apply.
